The 2019 RPIC Region II Conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 225 Water Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.

The Keynote Speakers:

Ethan Chazin, MBA

Ethan Chazin of The Chazin Group, LLC will deliver the opening Keynote Address, “Unleash your People’s Untapped Potential” at 2019 RPIC Region II Conference. Imagine being able to unleash the hidden talents and untapped skills of every single employee. In his talk, Ethan will walk through the most efficient and viable strategies to increase the core competencies of your organization, from front-line staff members to senior management. Understanding that utilizing a 21st century model for employee engagement and empowerment is crucial to establishing a preferred employee and employer partnership.

Dr. Paula Ioanide

Dr. Ioanide’s keynote address, “Integrating DEI into your Organizational Plan”, will focus on incorporating diversity, equity and inclusion into an organization’s process and discuss how an organization will benefit from building a more equitable, inclusive, diverse, and affirming culture. She brings ten years of consulting, facilitation, and research experience on improving equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Her goal is to help organizations recruit and retain diverse employees, maintain fair hiring practices, and eliminate biases that hinder workplace excellence, innovation, and productivity.

David Frank, Kepner-Tregoe

For the keynote address, David Frank will be joined by Dr. Donald Tavakoli. Dr. Tavakoli is the leader of a health and human services group that focuses on the opioid crisis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, offering real world examples to David’s problem solving model. David and Dr. Tavakoli will discuss the value of “issue clarification” and how solving problems starts with breaking them down in to clear, actionable, bite-sized chunks. The two will articulate the need for clear objectives in making decisions and provide a simple framework for doing so. Finally, David and Dr. Tavakoli will compare the differences between complicated and complex issues and how the approach may vary.
