If you are a student living in Wyoming County and wish to serve the less fortunate in your community United Schools in Action is looking for you.
Student volunteers design and implement projects under the over site of adult volunteers in the community. Students involved in the program have received in excess of $100,000.00 in scholarship awards as a result of their service to others.
Students help individuals of all ages through a variety of projects that include:
• Secret Santa Store for Nursing Home Residents
• Duck Regatta
• Food Drive
• Special Olympics
• Bell Ringing for Salvation Army
• Jeans for Teens
• Computer Class for Seniors
• Dinner Theatre at Senior Meal Sites
• Other Special Community Projects as help is needed
