family-developmentFamily Development redirects the way health, education, and human services are delivered to families.  It moves systems away from crisis-oriented, fragmented services toward and empowerment, support-based approached to working with families.

Family Development emphasizes strength-based partnerships, mutual respect, interagency collaborations and family-centered services.

The 90 hour course is conducted at Wyoming County Community Action by Pat Standish and     Rae Frank who both hold their certification from Cornell University to facilitate the class.

Depending on availability, scholarships are available to participants.
