CAREERS is an innovative program that provides opportunities for professional development, personal growth and support for individuals planning or advancing their careers.
Participants in the CAREERS Program receive a variety of services:
• 12 hours of soft skills training and Work Ready Certification on completion
• Employment Assessments and Professional Resume
• Letter of Introduction to prospective employers
• Employment supports (ex. work clothing, transportation, childcare)
• Real work experience and opportunity for paid work experience
CAREERS Certified Nursing Assistant
This can be your first step to a successful career in the healthcare industry. An essential step to becoming a respected and valuable member of a professional health team who provides vital care in our community.
CAREERS CNA Soft Skills Training and Employment Program is a unique collaborative effort between Angel Action, Employment & Training, and the Wyoming County Community Health System.
CAREERS CNA professional mentors offer information, encouragement, advice, job tips and practical solutions to help and encourage participants to realize a more rewarding and successful career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
CAREERS CNA participants are accepted into the program because of their commitment to becoming a productive and responsible employee with ambitious and attainable career goals.
CAREERS CNA IS THE POINT OF ENTRY FOR CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT.
SCHOLARHIPS FOR CERTIFICATION ARE LIMITED BUT AVAILABLE TO CAREERS CNA PARTICIPANTS.

CAREERS Participants

Mentors assist participants by providing a supportive work environment and help with upgrading skills to provide a clear sense of purpose and a goal oriented approach to a long and successful career.
