The Grant Specialist will work closely with the Executive Team, appropriate board committees and community partners to identify new opportunities for the agency that align with the mission, coordinate grant preparation and assist with submission. This may also include assisting with renewal applications of existing programs. Responsible for coordinating the activities required to prepare and submit grant proposals to foundation, corporate and government sources. Assist with writing proposals as needed. Perform research relevant to new opportunities. Understand the organization's programs, goals and financial needs.
Keep careful records to track proposals. Maintain records of new and ongoing contracts and funding opportunities. Build professional relationships with partners. Assist with the development of corresponding proposal budgets. Assist with other fundraising projects as requested
