As a Dietary Aide; Your Responsibilities Are:
Label, date and store all food inventories; maintain all necessary inventories for food reserve and snacks.
Daily transportation of program meals from vendor(s)
Set up and break down supplies on food service carts for distribution and collection of meals. Deliver food to all classrooms following the established schedule.
Wash and store all kitchen supplies utilized in meal service and distribution.
Load, deliver and collect meals to and from all assigned sites utilizing the food service truck and in compliance with the meal delivery schedule.
Follow the daily/weekly sanitation checklist to ensure a clean and sanitary food preparation and service area within the kitchen.
Maintain kitchen logs for compliance with ServSafe and DOH.
Ensure the proper care and maintenance schedule of all food service equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED
Ability to read, write and interpret basic instructions relating to special diets
Computer literacy.
Valid NYS Driver’s license.
Previous experience working in a Kitchen preferred
ServSafe Certificate preferred
