Teacher Assistant

Join an organization which has been providing quality education services through the Head Start and Universal Pre-K models for over 55 years. The Teacher Assistant works closely with classroom teachers to provide a fun, nurturing and healthy environment for young children.
Responsibilities include:

Assist classroom teacher to plan and implement activities for classroom programs
Develop positive relationships with children and families
Help with adequate staff coverage for all classrooms and activities onsite
Assist in completing case notes

Starting at $14.48 per hour; Monday-Friday;
30-35 hours per week/44 weeks per year – Head Start
30-35 hours per week/52 weeks per year – Early Head Start


High School Diploma or GED required. At least one (1) year of experience working with children 13 or younger. Bi- or Multi-lingual skills are a plus.
