Employment and Training Manager - Pro Action is seeking an Employment and Training Manager to be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the multiple services and programs of the Employment and Training Department. The Manager will provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of all department programs.
Additional responsibilities include: Assist with the Implementation and oversight of contracts with program partners and funders as well as the attainment and measurement of performance indicators. Responsible for completion of internal and external reports and monitoring of program budgets. Will research and write funding proposals for the purpose of maintaining and/or expanding the services of the department. Will positively promote the department, programs, and Pro Action at partner meetings and within the community. Will develop procedures to assure program coordination among various programs within the department, among other departments, and community service providers. Will be required to travel to occasional workshops, trainings, and conferences.
Qualifications: A minimum of an Associate Degree in Management, Human Services, or related areas; two years of experience in a managerial role with direct supervision; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required skills include grant writing, grant management, reporting, and monitoring of budgets. Strong and effective communication skills are required. Must be able to multi-task, be highly organized, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Computer skills, excellent customer service skills, problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently are required.
