Early Childhood Education Teacher – Pro Action is accepting applications for a Teaching position at the Valley Early Childhood School in Addison. This is a full time, 10-month (school year calendar position) that is eligible for benefits, including health insurance and a retirement plan with employer contributions.
At hire or within 5 years of hire, this position requires New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education or Special Education – Birth to Grade 2 – or a plan for achieving New York State certification in Early Childhood or Special Education – Birth to Grade 2, must be established and approved. Prior experience working with preschool age children, supervisory skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and previous supervisory experience are beneficial.

As part of the classroom team providing services to children and their families, the Certified Teacher helps children attain the skills they need to be ready for Kindergarten and implements Pre-K curriculum. The Teacher works in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, New York State Office of Children and Family Services Day Care Regulations, and New York State Education Department Learning Standards.
