The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to cultivate a community where all people are respectfully supported and empowered to embrace opportunities for learning, growth and economic security.
CAP is seeking a Fiscal Director. The Fiscal Director is responsible for all financial matters of the Agency and will report to and work closely with the Executive Director. In addition, s/he will partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization. The Fiscal Director will oversee all compliance and recognition for government (federal and state) contracts and private grants. S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace while managing 3 fiscal staff.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree; CPA and or MBA would have preference, along with five years' experience as CFO or equivalent, preferably in a nonprofit organization with a budget of at least $10 million. Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies. Must have a clean and valid NYS driver's license.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $66,000 - $71,000 DOE.
